This November London’s biggest artist-led illustration event will be returning to a NEW VENUE, London’s iconic Truman Brewery, in the heart of Shoreditch, with another jam-packed festival of illustration. Come help us celebrate with over 80 artists offering prints, products, workshops and festivities. (Please note our venue change from previous years).
The London Illustration Fair is an annual artist-led illustration, print and graphic design fair, bringing artists and buyers together in a unique environment. The fair offers the chance for illustration lovers to come face to face with their favourite artists and discover amazing new artwork from emerging illustrators. There is something for every pocket from the budding art collector, to the alternative Christmas shopper.

NEW VENUE: TRUMAN BReWery
Sadly, our venue of 8 years, the Bargehouse have had to cancel all events until at least 2025 due to structural issues with the venue. Shocking news I know, but thankfully, we have been able to secure another venue in the Truman Brewery! As many of you will know, the Truman Brewery is an amazing venue in Shoreditch, the creative heart of London.
Although unexpected, we are super excited by the venue change! Truman Brewery is a well established venue and with buckets of charm, just like the Bargehouse. Their long standing reputation as an amazing venue for creative events meant that the process has been pretty seamless! We have a strong feeling that this will be our new home for years to come!!
LUSH - Knot Wrap design competition
The London Illustration Fair 2024 has been working alongside global cosmetics brand LUSH to create a design competition, open to all who wish to get creative!
LUSH is asking designers and illustrators to submit a square design, either a new design or an existing artwork to the specifications set out below. The designs will be judged by LUSH and the top three entries will go on display at the LUSH stand within the fair's entrance space. A final winner will then be chosen by visitors over the duration of the fair with a final winner announced on the Sunday.
The winning entrant will be paid a fee of £2000 and will be required to enter into a royalty free worldwide exclusive licence with Cosmetic Warriors Limited for the use of the design on a Knot Wrap to be sold by LUSH. Full details below.
Size and specs for the Knot Wrap design
Size: 70cm x 70cm
Minimum of 3mm bleed.
Please submit your arts as an Adobe Illustrator, jpg, png or Adobe Photoshop file, depending on how you work.
File resolution should be set to 300dpi, which is a print standard.
Designs are pantone referenced, printed in CMYK
Upload to your designs to instagram tagging @thelondonillustrationfair @LUSHknotwraps and using #TheLIF2024 and #LUSH+LIF

• Non-exclusive licence to produce, sell, market and promote the Product from the end of
the Initial Period until all stock sold.

LUSH will also be giving away a goodie back with LUSH items and some free prints to the first 80 people through the door on the Launch Party and the first 30 people through the door on each day of the event!

EASY PEASY GIFT WRAP
Knot Wrap is the LUSH alternative to wrapping with paper and boxes. Inspired by the ancient Japanese tradition of furoshiki, and is a unique and versatile way to wrap anything you like. The possibilities are endless, it's the gift that keeps on giving!
LUSH started designing their own Knot Wraps over 10 years ago and since then they have designed just under 500!
It’s their mission to create collectors and this is why we have created the Online Lush Knot Wrap Archive.
The archive shows every design we have ever created, any designs that are not part of the current season are referred to as archive designs.
TWO TRIBES LABEL COMPETITION
The London Illustration Fair 2024 has partnered up with our official bar sponsor, Two Tribes Brewery, to bring you an exciting design competition!
As two creative brands seeking a similar ethos, to promote creativity and build partnerships, Two Tribes and The LIF 2024 have concocted competition winning you a year's supply of beer! The winning beer will also be posted to their socials.
Please download the logo template HERE where you can have fun designing your own label. There are no parameters (other than using the template), let your own creative style guide your design as it flows around the can.

Entries will be displayed on both our social channels and a winner will be announced on the Sunday at the fair!
There will also be an opportunity to come and design your own labels and with a range of pens, coloured paper and, ahem… maybe some glitter!? You can then stick your label on an empty can and place it into the Two Tribes display area.
The winning design will win a couple of cases of their favourite Two Tribes beer + some awesome merch!
Two Tribes Brewery emerged from London's counterculture.
They unite brewers, artists, musicians, chefs, and craft creators with shared values of fun, freedom, curiosity and creative discovery. They are a community of people who come together to share a love of the moment.

The London Illustration Print Shop
We are reaching back into our ten-year archive to invite a number of our favorite Featured Artists and exhibitors to contribute an exclusive artwork to our London Illustration Print Shop. These prints will be on sale from the Print Shop at the fair and Past featured artists have included Jean Jullien, Morag Myerscough, David Shillinglaw and Kristjana S Williams to name a few. We look forward to updating you of this line-up as we get closer to the fair.
The past 10 years have seen over 500 artists sell their works at the fair. Alongside the exclusive artworks from our Featured Artists, we are asking a number of past exhibitors and guest illustrators to help stock our Shop during the event. Many of these artworks will go on to be stocked on our Online Print Shop.

JUDGES
Rod Judkins - Author
Rod Judkins, a writer, artist, and consultant, has written bestselling books like Lie Like an Artist and The Art of Creative Thinking, which have been bestsellers and translated into over fifteen languages. He has conducted workshops and talks on creative thinking for businesses worldwide, including Apple and Google. Judkins, known for his alternative thinking, has lectured at prestigious institutions like Tate Modern and University College London.
Henry purrington - golden wolf
Henry Purrington, Talent Director at Golden Wolf, began his career as a 3D generalist at UK design studio ilovedust. He has worked on campaigns for Nike, MTV, and Cartoon Network. Henry joined Golden Wolf in 2013 and has held various roles, including Animation Lead and Creative Talent Director. He has worked on global campaigns for brands like Nike, Apple, and Disney. Since Golden Wolf's acquisition by Doodles in 2023, Henry manages talent and marketing teams, focusing on attracting and developing top talent.
Dale anne Scogings - CANVA
Dale Anne Scogings, Creative Lead at Canva, has 10 years of experience in brand creative initiatives for Flourish. She has worked with global brands like Canva, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Vodacom, and Puma, delivering creative solutions that have reached millions worldwide. Passionate about design for good, she mentors via ADPList and supports emerging talent.
David foldvari - ravensbourne university
David Foldvari, an illustrator and educator based in London, UK, has a vast client list including Nike, Penguin, and the Guardian. His work has been featured in publications such as the New York Times and Rolling Stone. Foldvari currently leads the Illustration for Communication BA program at Ravensbourne University London.
